Willie Mae Bowen and Local Federal Savings and Loan Association1 instituted this action in the District Court of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, upon a policy of fire insurance issued by the British America Assurance Company2 to recover for the loss of a dwelling house. The action was duly removed to the Federal court.

Bowen is the owner of a 10-acre tract of land situated in Oklahoma...
