The bankrupt, Joseph J. Beckman, filed his voluntary petition in bankruptcy on October 29, 1942. Prior to bankruptcy and on November 30, 1934, the bankrupt effected a policy of life insurance on his own life in the New York Life Insurance Company for the face amount of $2,500, and Frederick C.
