This appeal involves a conviction for violation (Sec. 311 of 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix) of an order of a local (Milwaukee) draft board to defendant to report for transportation "for work of national importance, as a conscientious objector," which order was issued under authority of the Selective Service Act. (50 U.S.C.A. Appendix, § 301.)
