Pierce Auto Freight Lines, Inc., was granted authority to conduct certain designated motor carrier operations in interstate commerce between Portland, Oregon, and San Francisco, California, by order of the Interstate Commerce Commission under the applicable statute.1 Plaintiffs here are three competitors of the Pierce Lines who instituted this action to set aside the order,2
