This is an appeal from a conviction for failing to report for induction into service in violation of Section 11 of the Selective Service Act of 1940, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix. § 311.

After duly registering, appellant filed his questionnaire on the ordinary form with the Local Board. In this questionnaire, he stated (under "Series VIII — Minister, or Student Preparing for the Ministry") that "I am not a minister of religion"; and...
