In 1935, Woodmen of the World, a fraternal benefit corporation, was the owner of forty "Road and Bridge Funding Bonds," issued by Rowan County, Kentucky; and on default of payment of interest, suit was brought in the District Court against the county, and judgment entered in favor of the plaintiff, which, on appeal, was affirmed.
