Alma Callahan, an insane person, by Lewis Callahan, her husband, as guardian, instituted suit against Montgomery Ward & Company, herein called the Company, in the District Court of the United States for the District of Kansas, to recover the sum of $45,000 damages for personal injuries suffered as a result of the negligence of the Company, and the further sum of $15,000 for the use and benefit of her husband.
