Lillian L. Moses, appellant here, is the owner of a garage building in the District of Columbia. She had leased the building for a rental of $250.00 a month to John T. Kidwell, appellee. On March 23, 1941, Kidwell being several months in arrears in the payment of the rent, Mrs. Moses brought an action to recover possession of the premises and the amount of rent due through March 22, 1941.
