The plaintiff Cooper, a citzen of New Jersey, filed a bill for an accounting in the District Court of the United States for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the defendant, a citizen of Pennsylvania and a resident of the district. Federal jurisdiction of the case depends solely upon the diversity of citizenship of the parties, coupled with an allegation of the requisite amount in controversy.
