This is a criminal action brought against Giovanni Polonio, who was the master of the Italian ship "Leme," and others who were of her officers and crew, on account of damage alleged to have been done.

Indictment is in two counts, the first of which charges the defendants jointly with the specific crime of tampering with the motive power and instrumentalities of navigation of the Motorship "Leme," with intent to injure or endanger...
