The indictment in this case charges substantially that Alexander Dewey, being a male citizen of the United States more than 21 years of age and less than 36, that it was your duty to register under the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940. 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix. § 301 et seq., and the rules and regulations passed in pursuance thereof, and that on or about the 16th of October, and within three years prior to the return of the indictment...
