Appellant entered the army in 1917 and was honorably discharged in 1918. He was paid disability compensation under applicable statutes in various amounts from March 15, 1918. From 1926 he received the special statutory allowance of $50 a month for arrested tuberculosis incurred in military service. For a few months during the period of the Economy Act
