The case arises upon an appeal from an interlocutory decree in the admiralty, which disposed of two proceedings: first, of a petition for limitation of liability filed by the Hain Steamship Company, Ltd. (of which we shall speak as "Hain"), owner of the "S. S. Tregenna" in which the firm of Farr & Company (whom we shall collectively call "Farr") were the only claimants; and, second, of a libel for freight filed by "Hain" against "Farr....
