This suit was filed in the court below by appellant against various state, county, and municipal tax-assessing-and-collecting boards and officers in Texas. The prayer of the bill is that certain levies and assessments be cancelled as clouds upon the plaintiff's title, and that each of the defendants be enjoined from taxing or attempting to tax the plaintiff, individually or as trustee, upon alleged unpaid purchase money due as oil payments....
