Under the admitted facts the one duty of the court is to determine what amount is properly awardable to the Libelant as salvage. The steamboat "Chickie", under charter to the respondent, while towing seven loaded and four unloaded barges of the libelant down the Ohio River, had a number of those barges break away from it and proceed to drift down the river.
