The appellant obtained a jury's verdict in the court below for damages for personal injuries suffered by him through the alleged negligence of the defendant company in the operation of its railroad. On a question of law reserved, the court entered judgment for the defendant n. o. v. on the ground that the plaintiff was guilty of contributory negligence as a matter of law.
