This is an appeal from two judgments of conviction entered against appellant, whom we shall hereafter refer to as defendant, one based upon an indictment and the other upon an information. The indictment charged defendant with unlawfully attempting to transport intoxicating liquor containing more than 4 per cent. of alcohol by volume from and out of the State of Missouri into the State of Kansas, without complying with the laws of the State...
