The plaintiff is a Delaware corporation, organized in July, 1919, to engage in the manufacture and production of dye stuffs and other chemicals. In the same year it acquired all of the capital stock of the Newport Hydro Carbon Company, a Maine corporation; it thereafter consolidated with that company so that all of the assets of the Newport Hydro Carbon Company were conveyed to the plaintiff.
