These two proceedings were tried together. The first is the petition of Hain Steamship Company, Ltd., owner of the steamship Tregenna for exoneration from and limitation of its liability. Farr & Company, the only claimants, seek to recover for loss of and damage to sugar loaded on the Tregenna at Casilda and Santiago, Cuba. The loss and damage claimed were the result of the vessel's stranding...
