This is an appeal from a judgment of the District Court dismissing a complaint filed by Armour and Company, an Illinois corporation, engaged in the purchase and slaughter of livestock. 27 F.Supp. 625. Armour commenced this suit in the Circuit Court of Cook County against the Alton Railroad and various other railroad companies, hereafter also referred to as the "carriers."
