Bernardo Cruz, Carlos Garcia, Julio Griego, Arturo Maes, Benito Paiz, Ben Gandert, and Alfonso Duran were charged by indictment with conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States, namely, to violate the provisions of Section 12 of the Emergency Relief Appropriation Act of 1937, 50 Stat. 352, 15 U.S.C.A. §§ 721-728 note.
