The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company, comprising 8,138 miles of railroad (hereinafter referred to as the "Pacific Company"), and The Chicago, Rock Island and Gulf Company, comprising 652 miles of railroad (hereinafter referred to as the "Gulf Company"), are both in bankruptcy for the purpose of reorganization under Section 77 of the Bankruptcy Act, 11 U.S.C.A. § 205. The plaintiffs were appointed trustees of both properties...
