The appellants, who are respectively remaindermen and the executor of a remainderman under the will of Clara Louise Haskell, deceased, filed an action at law in the District Court for the District of New Jersey seeking to recover damages from the appellee for the alleged conversion of 188 shares of the common stock issued by the appellee.
