The plaintiff, Bank of Burlington, prosecuted this suit in equity against the defendant, City of Murphysboro, for an accounting of trust funds, and for a decree for payment to the plaintiff as the beneficial owner of the funds. The decree of the District Court adopted the finding of facts and conclusions of law made by a special master in chancery, and determined the amount to be paid by the City of Murphysboro.
