Alma Schulmerick, appellee (whom we shall call plaintiff), brought this action against Carusi and Moebs, appellants (whom we shall call defendants), as owners of an apartment building in Washington city to recover damages for personal injury sustained by her when a window in the apartment which she leased from defendants fell upon her hand. In her declaration she charged that defendants, with knowledge and notice of the defective and unsafe condition...
