A fateful Sunday afternoon in the summer of 1936, Evelyn Brune, a young unmarried woman, accepted the invitation of McDonald to drive around Mt. Hood Loop, one of the scenic highways of Western Oregon. The events occurring on the drive are responsible for Miss Brune and McDonald's being defendants in this proceeding. Plaintiff is the insurer of McDonald's car, which was wrecked during the course of the drive, with serious injuries to Miss...
