Plaintiff Savage brought suit for infringement of two patents, Reid No. 1,621,482 applied for May 5, 1920 and issued March 15, 1927, and Savage No. 1,489,717 issued April 8, 1924 upon application filed August 31, 1923. In a second suit, plaintiff Sky Writing Corporation of America sued for infringement of patent No. 1,514,106 to Savage applied for June 30, 1922 and issued November 4, 1924.
