This is an appeal from a conviction of perjury. At October term, 1937 of United States District Court at Big Stone Gap, Virginia, the defendant John Goins and wife were tried under an indictment charging them with facilitating the transportation, concealment and sale of morphine hydrochloride in the preceding April in violation of Sec. 174, Title 21 of the United States Code, 21 U.S.C.A. § 174....
