The suit, by the receiver of a failed national bank, was to cancel a contract it had made pledging securities for public deposits, to wit, bond funds of Taylor county, Fla., to recover the pledged securities, and to get back moneys paid the depositor in the course of liquidation as proceeds from some of the securities.
