This indictment was returned at the October term, 1933. The grand jury which returned it was impaneled by Judge Barnes at the July term. Judge Barnes made an order at the July term authorizing the grand jury to continue to sit during the succeeding (September) term to finish investigations begun but not finished by it. At the September term Judge Barnes made a similar order authorizing the grand jury to continue to sit during the October...
