Ray P. Brewer was in the military service of the United States from May 27, 1918, until March 20, 1919. He was granted $10,000 of war risk insurance. He paid no premiums thereon after his discharge, but uncollected compensation for service-connected disabilities continued $9,759.44 of his insurance in force up to January 12, 1922, by virtue of section 305 of the World War Veterans' Act of 1924, chapter 320, § 305, 43 Stat. 626 (title 38...
