The case concerns compensation under the Texas Workmen's Compensation Law, Vernon's Ann.Civ.St. art. 8306 et seq., for the death of D. M. Winningham, an employee in the assembly plant of the Ford Motor Company at Dallas, Tex. Winningham was proven to have come home from work Monday night, March 16, 1936, with a bruise the size of a quarter of a dollar on the inside of the left leg just above the knee. He worked the next day, but saw a physician...
