On February 6, 1932, the appellant, Union Oil Company of California, filed its application in the United States Patent Office for the registration of a trade-mark used by the appellant in connection with the sale of gasoline. In this application, it was alleged that said mark had been continuously used in the business of said corporation since January 2, 1932. The mark, as shown by the application, consists of the numerals "76" in block type...
