Appellee was a passenger in a taxicab owned and operated by appellant. While being driven along a public street in the city of Chicago she was thrown from her seat and suffered injuries. She asserted that such injuries resulted from the negligent operation of the taxicab by the driver, appellant's employee. The jury rendered a verdict in appellee's favor for $4,800, which was reduced $800 by the trial judge. From a judgment for $4,000, appellant appeals.
