There are two patents in suit; claims 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 of Richard, et al., reissue patent 18,401, March 29, 1932 (see1 for claims), and claims 1-6 of Richard reissue patent 18,395, March 22, 1932 (see2 for claims). The first-mentioned patent will be called "the first patent," and the other patent "the second patent."
