Defendants are and for some time have been the owners in fee of certain real estate in Kansas City, Mo. By an indenture dated April 11, 1890, they leased this property for a term of 99 years to plaintiff's predecessor as lessee. Plaintiff realty company now is lessee and plaintiff dry goods company, which operates a large mercantile establishment on the premises, is sublessee. The yearly rental fixed in the lease for the 92 years following April...
