This case arises upon a writ of error to the Police Court of the District of Columbia. The question involved, broadly stated, is whether or not a motor vehicle primarily operated in daily scheduled routed passenger bus service in the District of Columbia, for which a mileage tax of eight-tenths of one cent for each vehicle-mile proposed to be operated during a particular license year is required, is also subject to a per annum license tax of $100 if used...
