The appellant, hereafter referred to as plaintiff, is assignee of the patent application of one John C. Black, filed November 6, 1922, Serial No. 599,403, in the United States Patent Office, for a heating coil for cracking hydrocarbon oils. The application was duly prosecuted, but certain claims thereunder were rejected by the Examiner, and on appeal to the Board of Appeals that Board affirmed the Examiner's rejection.
