The libellants in this case (husband and wife) were passengers on the Steamship City of Norfolk of the Baltimore Mail Line, embarking on November 12, 1934, at Havre, France, and landing in Baltimore, Maryland, about twelve days later. Their baggage, consisting of three large trunks and the contents thereof, including principally clothing, was placed during the voyage in a baggage room in which the employes of the Steamship Company permitted...
