Doran, for infringement of patent No. 1,919,584, for methods and apparatus for conveniently making packing rings by hand from straight bands of metal, applied for February 4, 1931, and issued July 25, 1933. The claims of the patent alleged to be infringed by defendants' apparatus are as follows:
