These two infringement suits involve the same patents and were tried together. In each case the defenses were anticipation, noninvention, and noninfringement. The patents involved are Murphy, No. 1,378,604; reissue patent to Steinman, No. 17,821; and Holzhauer, No. 1,721,663.
