This is an appeal from judgments in two suits, heard together in the court below, which were instituted under section 16 (2) of the Interstate Commerce Act, 49 USCA § 16 (2), to recover damages awarded by the Interstate Commerce Commission for the charging of unreasonable rates on interstate shipments of freight.
