This is an appeal from a judgment for defendant in an action to recover on a foreign judgment. The judgment sued on was rendered in favor of the plaintiff, Monarch Refrigerating Company, and against the defendant, Farmers' Peanut Company, by the superior court of Cook county, Ill. It was for the sum of $93,475.14, and was rendered upon certain promissory notes of the defendant signed by its secretary and treasurer. There was no service of process...
