Carl R. Jordan went to Enid, Oklahoma, as the agent of Henry L. Doherty and Company in 1926, and remained there in that capacity until September 12, 1928. His business as such agent was to sell shares of stock in companies in which Doherty and Company were interested, principally Empire Gas and Fuel Company and Cities Service Company.
