This is an appeal from a conviction for use of the mails in execution of a scheme to defraud in violation of section 215 of the Criminal Code. 18 U.S.C.A. § 338. Lester L. Rankin, Irving Weber, J. George Wright, alias Charles R. Allen, Louis J. Bowers, Mervin Rosenthal, Robert Hendison, Ed Prival, and William Fisher were indicted in ten counts. The scheme alleged was that defendants, operating under the name of Lester Rankin & Co....
