The libelant's ship Grecian, bound from Boston to Norfolk, Newport News, and Baltimore, cargo laden, became a total loss when it collided with the claimant's City of Chattanooga on the high seas off Block Island May 27, 1932. The collision was due to the mutual fault of the vessels without knowledge or privity on the part of the owner of either. The value of the City of Chattanooga after the collision...
