On the 27th of May, 1926, Martin Nelson, the then owner of four separate tracts of farm land in Brookings county, S. D., executed and delivered to E. H. Lougee, Inc., of Sioux Falls, S. D., four certain promissory notes in the principal sums of $7,000, $5,500, $7,500 and $5,000, respectively, with interest at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum, each of said notes being secured by real estate mortgage covering one of the tracts of land,...
