The petitioner in this case in the District Court laid claim to an electric refrigerator which he had sold the bankrupt under a conditional sales agreement whereby title in the goods, until fully paid for, was reserved in the seller. The trustee in bankruptcy resisted the claim on the ground that the sales agreement, although registered, did not show the total amount due by the purchaser, and consequently did not give rise to a claim or lien...
