The first cause of action, which is the only one involved on this appeal, was brought by the plaintiff as trustee in bankruptcy of Quality Publications, Inc., to recover sums of money aggregating $7,023.60 from the defendant Isaac Goldman Company. The payments were alleged to be voidable preferential transfers made within four months of the filing of the petition on January 7, 1932, and the suit was in terms founded upon section 60b...
