The bankrupt is a physician in Brooklyn, N. Y., who filed his voluntary petition in bankruptcy September 17, 1931, and was adjudicated a bankrupt the same day. He was indebted to the Brooklyn National Bank of New York to the amount of $43,000, which was secured by collateral deposited with the bank having a value of $27,000. The bank had applied a credit balance on the bankrupt's checking account in the sum of $1,800 to the debt, and had moved...
